These Terms apply to enquiries and bookings for private boat tours operated by Coco De Zil Boat Tours in the Republic of Mauritius. By submitting a booking request or confirming a booking, you (the “Guest”) agree to these Terms.
1. Services. We offer private lagoon boat tours in Mauritius. Sample itineraries and highlights shown on our website are indicative and may vary based on weather, sea state, tide, and safety considerations determined by the skipper.
2. Enquiries & Bookings. Your web form submission is a booking request, not a confirmed contract. We will reply by email or WhatsApp to confirm availability, price, inclusions, meeting point/time, and any special requests. A booking is confirmed only when we accept it in writing (email/WhatsApp).
3. Pricing & Payment. Base prices include a specified number of guests. Extras (additional adults/children, optional items) are charged as indicated. All amounts are in Mauritian Rupees (MUR) unless stated otherwise. If a deposit or full prepayment is required, details will be communicated during confirmation.
4. Children & Fitness. You are responsible for ensuring that all Guests (including children) are fit to participate and follow the skipper’s safety instructions. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
5. Weather, Safety & Itinerary Changes. The skipper may alter, shorten, delay, or cancel a tour if weather/sea state is unsafe or unsuitable. Certain activities (e.g., snorkeling) are always subject to conditions and not guaranteed.
6. Cancellations & No‑Shows. If you need to cancel or change a confirmed booking, contact us as early as possible. Our cancellation terms (including any fees/refunds) will be stated in your confirmation. If you do not show up at the agreed time/place, the booking may be treated as a no‑show.
7. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by Mauritian law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our liability is limited to the price paid for the affected service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Personal Property & Insurance. You are responsible for your belongings. We recommend adequate travel/health/accident insurance covering marine activities.
9. Conduct. We may refuse service or terminate a tour without refund if a Guest behaves dangerously, unlawfully, or in a manner that endangers others or property.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. Courts of Mauritius have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights of Guests residing outside Mauritius.
11. Contact. For questions or complaints, contact us at booking@cocodezil.com.
